We installed a myenergi Zappi smart EV charge point for this Norwich homeowner — the untethered, three-phase model in black. The unit was wall-mounted on the side elevation of the house, sited neatly for easy access from the driveway and close enough to the parking bay to reach the vehicle comfortably.
Because this is a three-phase property, the supply work was more involved than a standard single-phase install. The external meter cabinet was upgraded with the necessary protective devices, and the charger circuit was run in a tidy sheathed cable — clipped in straight, evenly spaced runs and cornered cleanly along the brickwork before dropping down to the Zappi. A separate enclosure was added beneath the meter box to house the charger’s RCD/MCB protection.
The Zappi is an eco-smart charger, so the customer can charge at full speed or set it to draw surplus solar and off-peak power, helping cut running costs, and it can link to a Harvi or solar system in future.
