We carried out a consumer unit upgrade on this Norwich property, replacing the old fuse board with a modern FuseBox F3011MZ unit complete with RCD protection, surge protection and clearly labelled circuits. The new board covers the oven, water heater, ground-floor sockets, lighting, kitchen sockets, central heating and hob, giving the homeowner up-to-date protection that meets current BS 7671 wiring regulations.
As part of the works our engineers checked the incoming supply and metering, including the smart electricity meter and 100A main cut-out fuse, and brought the installation up to a safe, compliant standard. New socket outlets and light switches were also fitted as the property was being refurbished and redecorated.
Being NICEIC-approved, we completed the installation with a periodic inspection and certification, applying our own labelled inspection sticker recording the test date and the recommended date for the next inspection. The finished board was left neat and clearly labelled for easy future maintenance.
