This was a complete domestic rewire carried out throughout an occupied family home in Norwich. With walls stripped back and floors up across the hallway, kitchen and bedrooms, our team ran all-new cabling to sockets, lighting and appliance circuits before making good and handing back a safe, modern installation ready for redecoration.
At the heart of the job is a brand-new FuseBox consumer unit with individually labelled circuits, RCBO protection and a surge protection device, giving the property up-to-date fault protection that fully meets the current BS 7671 wiring regulations. A dedicated fire-alarm control switch was also installed alongside the board for clear, accessible isolation of the alarm system.
Elsewhere in the house we fitted new pendant lighting points, recessed LED downlights in the kitchen, a fresh electric shower with ceiling light in the bathroom, and clean, properly terminated wiring throughout. As an NICEIC-approved contractor, we completed the rewire to a fully certified standard with tidy, considerate workmanship from first fix to final test — future-proofing an older property and giving the homeowners complete peace of mind.
