We completed a full property rewire on this Norwich home, replacing the entire electrical installation from the incoming supply through to every socket, switch and light fitting. With the property stripped back during refurbishment, our team installed brand-new cabling throughout, giving the homeowner a safe, modern installation that fully complies with the latest BS 7671 wiring regulations.
At the heart of the rewire is a new FuseBox F3011MZ consumer unit, fitted with individual RCBO protection, surge protection and a clearly labelled circuit schedule covering the garage, central heating, lighting, ground and first-floor sockets, kitchen, cooker, shower and smoke alarm circuits. A separate FuseBox sub-board was installed in the garage to serve the outbuilding supply, and the existing meter and main earthing arrangements were checked as part of the works.
Throughout the home we installed fresh lighting points — neat surface-mounted LED ceiling fittings to the stairwell, hallway and bathrooms, and pendant points to the living spaces — along with new socket outlets, light switches and extractor fans. Mains-powered smoke and heat alarms were fitted to provide interlinked fire protection across the property.
As an NICEIC-approved contractor, we certified the completed installation and supplied the homeowner with full documentation. Every board was professionally labelled and the workmanship left clean and tidy, ready for the property’s new decoration and flooring.
